a.k.a. Mark Beecham

Nickname derived from his profession - a real life Postman Pat! Often seen in the Grantham environs in his little red van, alas the cat is nowhere to be seen.
Wrecked his first model kit at the age of 3 ... appropriately a Devastator!
Main interests are 'tabbing' the odd mountain or three, and is slowly but surely getting though a great many in the British Isles.
Wild women and wine are another interest, however the girls are not impressed when it's eventually revealed that the only Spitfires ever flown are those by Airfix.
Mark has very little time to devote to modelling these days due to an ever demanding job and 'chasing the girls'.
When time for modelling is found , Mark generally stays exclusively in 1/72 scale, not just aircraft, but armour as well. Also modern British army vehicles and tanks, the odd Phantom, WW2 aircraft, Vietnam era and finally more Spitfires than you can shake a stick at.
For reasons yet to be explained 1/48 scale aeroplanes have been accumulating of late, rumour has it there may even be further investment in a compressor. However, as he squeaks when he walks, we will see!
