Nicknamed derived from constantly hunting for subs(criptions). However it has been said the likeness to PLUG is uncanny. A life-long Stoke City supporter (well someone has to do it) although no one holds that against him.

Been making models since the age of six. He will make just about anything from WW2 - although most of which is German tanks, boats, and particularly aircraft.

Mentioned in dispatches at the Nationals on a number of occasions and has subsequently turned his talents to writing. A regular contributor to a national aircraft modelling magazine, whose payment is helping considerably with the loft insulation. It is said the loft insulation is three feet thick!

With declining eyesight, now tends to build BIG kits although no new ones have actually been seem finished for a while.

Some say that a 1/32 Revell Hawker Hunter is nearing completion, after ten years so it should be! A 1/24 Stuka is still in his possession from a commission build. Will the commissioner PLEASE come and collect it as the space is urgently needed.

Fascination for BIG scale is getting worse, with the purchase of yet more 1/32 aeroplane's over last few months.
